A quality shaving soap contains a high level of fat and glycerin. Glycerin, derived from botanically-based oils, is incredibly important for shave soaps because it serves as a humectant, which locks in water and hydrates the skin. It is also an efficient emollient because it softens the beard and hair follicles, leaving the skin smooth and moisturized. The fat content is essential because it provides the necessary lubrication and protection for the skin during the shaving process so that the blade glides over the surface of the skin without irritating or nicking it.

Extensively tested on our bearded Louisiana Sportsmen, our beard oil is designed to be very lightweight, but hydrating to the skin and beard. Our beard oil will help keep the gnarly beard tamed and conditioned. Because of the lightweight blend of oils, it won’t weigh down the beard with a heavy, greasy feeling.

Usage:

With a clean beard, rub 3 – 4 drops in both palms and through the fingertips, then apply in upward motions from roots to tip. Start with the underside, moving the right hand across the face towards the left cheek, repeat with the opposite hand/cheek. Use a beard comb to evenly distribute the oil after application (don’t forget to comb the oils into the mustache), then comb the beard into place.

As a final step in your traditional shave, the After-Shave Oil is an essential part in achieving a smooth shave. After-Shave Oil replenishes moisture to soothe dry skin after shaving. With its blend of moisturizing and Essential Oils, After-Shave Oil will help deliver hydrated skin.
